The Mystery at the Grassy Knoll;
added 17 February 2009
This is apocryphal.
A manager-expat was seen in the “grassy knoll” [apologies to JFK] by the sea behind the Waste-Water Treatment Plant [WWTP]. He was doing something natural, called “the call of nature.”
One of his native subordinate discretely told him thereafter that the “loo” is near the WWTP Office.
The next day, the same subordinate found out that although his manager used the loo, the “nature” were scattered on the floor!
He then, again very discretely this time, pointed out the manager’s lapse that there is a bowl in there for that purpose.
A week later, the native subordinate, surprised, saw the manager-expat back to his “grassy knoll” adventure. Ahhh, to commune with nature, thought the native subordinate!

I recently found an interesting article related to this post; visit The toilet test, which would probably explain why the above incident happened.
Also, visit: the other WTO, a Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur and an Ashoka Global Fellow.
